Summer Information Night

Come find out why we all look forward to Summer Swimming.  We will have a full staff on hand to answer all of your questions.

Priority Registration for Returnees (in person):
Saturday, February 25th, 3–5pm

Open Registration (in person):
Saturday, March 03rd, 3-5pm
Leisure Centre Preschool Room.  

**All new swimmers will need to complete an in-water assessment prior to registration. 
Please bring swimsuit, goggles, cap, and towel.

Please make sure all forms and cheques are complete, signed and dated correctly.  Mail-in registrations must be post-marked by February 25th for priority registration for returning members and March 03rd for new families.

  • Early registration discounts – registrations and payment must be received by March 03rd. (March 03rd post-marked envelopes will be accepted.)  After March 03rd full program fees are payable.
  • Program fee cheques are payable April 15, 2012.  (If you would like to pay in three installments, dates and payment amounts will be available at in-person registration).
  • A Family Discount is also available - $75 for 3 or more children (Masters and Hammond Development are not eligible for the family discount).
  • All fees above include annual fees and membership fees and there are no additional costs aside from your fundraising commitment of $150.00.
  • Fundraising:  Summer 2012 - $150* (post-dated cheque dated for September 01, 2012). 
    *note that fundraising fees are per family NOT per athlete and Masters & Hammond are exempt

 What you will need to register:

  1. One program fee cheque dated April 15th, 2012 (payment by installment is possible: details at in-person registration)
  2. One post-dated subsidy cheque for $150 - dated September 01, 2012
*all cheques to HNAC (Haney Neptunes Aquatic Club)
  3. Photocopy of child’s care card or birth certificate *new members only
  4. HNAC Registration form – 1 per family (signed by parent or guardian)
  5. BCSSA Registration form – 1 per child (signed by parent or guardian)

This is the beginning of the swimming year, so everyone will need to complete both registration forms.


 Cancellation Policy

The Haney Neptunes will be pleased to provide a full refund during the first two weeks of any program, less Administrative and Provincial Registration fees. Those swimmers required to withdraw from the program due to exceptional circumstances such as medical or family reasons may apply in writing for a pro-rated refund, less administrative and registration fees. All applications for withdrawal and refund must be made in writing to the club registrar.

Late Registration Policy

Families that register after the posted date will be subject to a $20 late registration processing fee per swimmer.

* Fees are subject to change periodically, but all attempts are made to ensure the fees listed are current.


Fundraising

The fundraising subsidy can be worked off through your fundraising efforts.  The cheque is cashed only if your commitment is not met.  If you only raise a portion of the amount, we still cash the cheque but pay you back the difference.  We have numerous fundraising initiatives that run through the season like Purdy's chocolate sales & credit for bottle returns to the bottle depot.
